Overview

Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1280, by Èbêbmthe. The establishment of Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Èbêbmthe struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ as a prison colony.

Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ is buildings have been located at convienant points along the rivers Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the spacious baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a city of Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ's size could have. Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ's well-designed, yet cheep are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the city like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This city is as a necropolice.

The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

Tall, stout walls, strong points inside the community, concentric defenses, a strategic terrain location, or a large body of standing troops might be present. Some threat is thought to exist that makes maintaining this fortification worthwhile, though it may come at a dear cost to the locals. The community’s suzerain may be uncomfortable with these defenses, as they could just as easily be used to defy the ruler.

Mi Goyæ Kâchyâ makes use of canals for some of its streets. Locals often fish in the canals.
